it's not a real time system, which is the point :) you can have days between moves.
or seconds, if you're actively sitting in front of your screen updating.

it's more like a correspondence game.

you get an email notification when a new move has been made.

Unfortunately I think I fell in love with chess because of the pieces. I have absolutely no killer instinct for gameplay.

Though I did get a very pretty chess set when I was in Istanbul, if that counts?
