Was searching on typewriters and found this page about a guy that
converted an old
manual typewriter into a functional keyboard. It apparently still works as a typewriter,
too. Very cool.
The point being that each keystroke has gradual resistance, rather than the all or nothing
fingerslap of a standard keyboard. Given our current understanding of ergonomic design,
I'm surprised there aren't modern keyboards designed with this in mind.
