The hilariousness of watching young Kujuurou make an idiot of himself aside, this most recent insanity has gotten me thinking seriously about many things.

After Shuten defected, I was - to my knowledge, at least - the first of the remaining Masho to recognize the connection between our armor and that of the Troopers. I've since realized - much to ( Read more... )

I would have to agree with your theory. Though I would see if you actually need the help before jumping in to help like I'm sure Shu or Ryo would do.

But is the connection between us to do with the virtues, or is it because of the source of the armors, that them being originally Arago's. Also the point of what alignment the armors have. Being part of Arago's armor would align them to evil, but the virtues align them to good... so are they neutral?

Of course. Even as impulsive as you are, you at least use your head more often than those two.

The energy of the armor and the virtue infusing it do seem to cancel each other out. Unfortunately, it is the human variable that can swing the balance in either direction.

That is true, the human element is extremely umpredictable. But I wonder if the virtures on their own are more apt to be one or the other. Or if it is truly the human's choice.

Like for instance, Loyalty... you can be loyal to anyone good or evil and still follow the virtue. But what about Courtesy? Can someone follow Rei and be evil as well?

I don't doubt that Arago selected us for a reason...though of the four, my virtue seems to be the odd one out.

But it's also possible that the human in question could ignore the voice of his virtue and choose instead to listen to the armor's aggressive impulses.

That is true... were you aware of your virtue at first? Do you remember ignoring it or anything like that?

No. Nor did Arago ever teach us of them. In fact, he might have been deliberately attempting to block our awareness of them. My first awareness of it came when we were used to call upon Kikoutei and I recall feeling...completed by it.

*nod nod* So the virtues can be ignored or buried, though not removed. That is interesting to know. More to the fact that we CAN NOT let anyone else have these armors unless we know they are worthy of them. In the wrong hands anything could happen...

It does create concerns about succession. Though it seems that the armors choose their own bearers.

I'm not entirely sure about that... in some instances I'd say yes, but then you'd have cases like Shu and Seiji where their grandfathers deemed they were worthy of the armor.

Which they clearly are.

I do not know how you came by your armor, but I recieved mine in a freak yet lifesaving act of fate.

Ah, by chance I came across some family records and traced the armor through a paper trail to where I found it. So I don't know if you'd say I found it or it found me...

Exactly.

So... you think maybe the armors or someone higher have things happen as they did so that certain people got the armors?

I believe that the armors, in one way or another, seek out and select the people that will serve them best.

But the armors only want to fight, that is their nature. Are the virtues acting on their own as well? Are they controlling the armor?

You know as well as I do that that's not the case.
