There is a sequel to this, too, to come sometime this year, which is more Rogue and Remy. Actually, I have two more in store (not both in this series, just bringing Remy into the movies at different ages) and you know, I hate Rogue/Remy. Why have I become so interested in writing them? I blame you, of course, as I blame all my desires to write HP or XMM, and especially the need to write HP/XMM.

Okay. I'm looking, and I'm joining. Going right now. I do not need another thing to do fannishly, but I trust you and any place you say I need to be, I go. Going. Gone.

Oh, thank you! I actually hate Rogue/Remy in almost every format, but I do have a goal in mind for this. Really. I'm so glad you liked it, especially because you're not a fan of the pairing. I'm actually really giddy over this right now, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thank you! I'm so glad to hear you liked it despite the fact you don't like the pairings. I'm not a fan of Rogue/Remy or Rogue/Iceman either--my favorite is Rogue/Logan--but I did enjoy writing this. (Of course, I also have a goal in mind beyond this ending, in the second story, so we'll see how that goes.)

Bobby still held her hand, and when he touched her gloves so carefully she knew it wasn’t because he was afraid she would hurt him, or even afraid he would squeeze her fingers too tight, he was really thinking about John, and she was his normal, his cover-up, his goddamn proof he liked pussy not cock, except it was all fake.
That, that right there, killed me dead.

Their story wasn’t a fairy tale, they didn’t get a happy ending, she was too young and he was a little crazy and obsessed with finding his past.

I really like movieverse Bobby/Rogue, but even more I like John/Bobby and Rogue kind of on the outside watching them because she can't touch. Plus then she went and touched John's ankle and oh, oh, oh, how can that not lead to interesting things?
