Fandom: Supergirl (tv)
Catching up on Supergirl before work this morning, had to stop the episode for awhile when Kara is fangirling over their woman president and asks how anyone could have voted for the other guy. Fictional world, will you take me in?
Also, I am deeply in love with Detective Maggie Sawyer, and already shipping her with Alex Danvers SO HARD. SO DAMN HARD.
I think this season may be a little too on the nose with its alien = minorities metaphor, unfortunately. It is usually my joy show, but everything is so terrible right now, I'm not sure I'll keep getting joy from a show that has already brought up tech to identify closeted aliens and people fighting against giving them amnesty and rights. So.
