It has been ages since I read and recced fic.
Star Trek:
bravecows wrote
The First Time, which includes original characters in the Star Trek universe being political and awesome and has one of the sweetest crushes. As I said in my comment after reading it, I found myself really rooting for the main character both in her Starfleet dreams and her romantic desires. Feera is an amazing character.
I'm also finally starting to read Gilmore Girls fic, and after the mess of what I've been watching lately, I think I'm going to need it. (Almost done with the series, though.) I will happily take any recs you have.
Gilmore Girls:
The Power of Myth, Rory/Paris
Spoilers/Continuity: Future AU with spoilers through the end of S5.
Warnings: Overt liberal politics. RPS gently implied.
Summary: Dateline: Washington, DC, January 2012. 50 awesomely improbable moments in the future of Paris Geller.
I love
mosca's Paris voice a lot and really love the friendship and romance between Paris and Rory. Also, some of the background details made me unbelievably happy.

More painkillers and I am going (back) to bed, but I did catch up on Fringe (just in time for a hiatus until April, what fresh hell?) and oh, you guys, I am in love with Agent Olivia Dunham. And a little bit with Peter Bishop, which is unfortunate, because I have been not falling for Josh Jackson's characters since 1992 (The Mighty Ducks, what?) and I hate to break tradition. Oh well. God, Fringe, show of my heart, come back to me.
