I really like the relationship that you've set up between Dawn and Willow, but also with Willow, Xander, and Dawn.

Thank you! I didn't intend for it to include Xander so much, but while I was writing the Dawn and Willow scene toward the end, the beginning jumped into my mind and wouldn't go away. I think I might have to write more about it.

Hi! This is lovely. I like who Dawn is growing up to be in your hands. Plus the portrait of Xander -- very spare but vivid. *g*

Oddly enough, this Dawn makes me wonder what Drusilla would see in her. There's something about her Keyness nad the stars that echoes Dru's madness and power in a Light/Dark contrast. Then I imagine Willow fighting off Drusilla. *goes to happy place*

Thank you! I love Xander's character, but I've never really tried to write him before, because I didn't think I can do him justice. I think spare but vivid works though, so thank you.

That's an interesting idea, about Dawn and Drusilla. I didn't consciously realize it while writing it, but you're correct, Dawn's star obsession does bring to mind Drusilla and the strange parallels between them. I'm going to have to think about this further. Thank you!

Thank you! That's one of my favorite lines from the story. Despite the wonderful book loving both Dawn and Willow have, I had a hard time fitting it in at first. I'm glad I was able to, in the end.
