loved this. enjoyed the tone of it - the feel was flat and there were just those tiny chinks of hope, where Faith secretly let them in. love the post-apocalyptic Faith voice, the resentment and the acceptance. and I always enjoy a good Oz with a plan.

Thank you so much! That's a large part of what I was trying to get across, the way the apocalypse really tempers them into their strongest, most basic form. Everything else burns away - dies - and all they have left is what they are, the strangeness in their bodies, their blood.
