[fandom] loss
I'm not sure I can remember a time in my fannish life that Heath Ledger wasn't there in the background, making movies I loved. I've always been really impressed with acting skills, and I was so pleased people were starting to take notice, what with images of his Joker making the rounds.
I'm far sadder than I would have thought about his death. He had so much ahead of him. Maybe part of it is we're nearly the same age. Maybe part of it is that his movies were a part of my fannish life for so long.
It's sad. I don't have more to say than that, I guess. It's so very sad for his family, and for his fans.
