Wow, it's been a while! Life has a way of distracting you, yet again, more and more... In case, you're curious, I did, indeed, get a new laptop, hurrah, which actually works!

Well, allow me to return with a bang! I've been re-watching the Nightmare on Elm Street film series for the past few months in preparation of the upcoming remake, which will star Jackie Earle Haley (Rorschach from Watchmen) as the horror icon. And, with that, this is a random fan-fic, short and sweet, about the events that led to the birth of the "Springwood Slasher" — the serial molester and murderer, Frederick Charles "Freddy" Krueger.
