Candles and Coffee
Had a nice day today :D Had a sub in programming, so surfed the net for most of the class (no, I'm not a bad girl, I got the projects done). Then we had a sub in band. I talked with Justin for a bit, then he took a nap on the floor (eew! Spit!) and I read. Math was blech. Don't understand those word problems at all... eew. Another sub in History, watched some WWI documentaryish movie, then wrote a BCR.
Turned in the College Fair thing at lunch. Then Shuo and Arielle ditched me (go figure). And... Dania gave me a present!! All wrapped and everything, and it wasn't even my birthday! Beautiful candles, gorgeous, wonderful, amazing. :D YAY! Happy Rachel. My friends take such good care of me.
After school, I went out for coffee with Emily. We had a good, nice, long, and deep conversation about sex, drugs, booze, boys, bush, parents, politics, friends, and tree hugging. Yes, tree hugging. Very intellectual. I know. (She is going to join me in helping to save the trees in my park - my park is currently a tree graveyard :( I napped on one of the trunks last night after my mind-numbing walk). But I'm glad I went out and talked with her, she really seemed to need someone to vent to. Poor kid.
While at Carribou, she got a message from Danni saying that the school was in code red. Hmm... so she called her friend Nick to find out what was going on. He said something about police cars surrounding a bus or something. So, we decided to go check out the action. Of course, it was over by the time we got there, but we got to hear the story. Some gunman dude was high jacking a car. Yeup. Pretty freaky. :-P
Anyways, should have a good weekend 'till the dad gets home. Grumble... why can't he just stay up there? Tomorrow I'll be partying hard with Michelle and some sexay guitars (rusted strings and all). Then Sunday is Anna's play! *sending Anna Zing! vibes* So, ciao for now!
