(no subject)
So I was in Columbus, OH for a week racking up mad hours at work, and I brought my roommate Toni with me. I figure he's out of a job right now so he could stant to make $700 for a weeks work. That's all well and good, but he forgot to take care of a few things before he left, for example:
Rent; he didn't have it before we left, and failed to let Eric or our landlord know that fact. Eric and I both got our rent in, but our landlord (who lives next door) kept hounding us about Toni's rent since he hadn't spoke with him.
The dogs; he didn't ask anyone to walk them or feed them, so Eric was left to those duties, and he hates those dogs. The stink they left on the couch over the last 10 months became unbearable, so Eric and his new girlfriend, very enibrated, moved the couch to the porch and replaced it with the one in my room, putting new holes in the walls and my door as they did it. Also the linolium floor in the downstairs bathroom was torn to shreds by Rizzo.
The water bill; it was late when Toni paid it, and he failed to pay the late fee within 10 days so it was shut off when we got back.
I took the liberty of popping open the manhole and turning the water on so we could all take showers and flush the shit down the toilet. I turned it off this morning when Toni went to pay the late fee and get the water turned back on legally.
All I can say is Toni's moving out by the end of December, which he wants to do any way. I love the guy but I can't live with him or his dogs, (especially his dogs). So we're in the market for a new roommate.
