The following is a description of what I consioder the best way to create dreads, based on personal and other's experiences. ( How to make AWESOME dreads )
i have very short hair right now (just shaved my head in August) but my goal is to grow it out and perm it and then eventually dread it. (I have jew-hair, so it's corse but doesn't get nappy easily) Your accIount is the most in-depth I've seen, can I "memory" it so when my frizzed-out mop gets long enough (probably this time next year) I can use it? Also if you need a place to host pics I have one, or if you can email me some, I'd like to see how it all worked out....the pattern, etc. I love dreads.

I will be around next year too, so when you get ready to do the deed, let me know, and I'd be happy to go over everything I know with you. You will almost DEFINITELY want to have someone else do your dreads though, as it will keep them more even....it's just easier when you can see everything being done without having to use a mirror.
plus, I can show you how to make the salt spray.
I'll email you pics if you want, but we could actually meet up one day and I can show you sebastien's dreads and maybe even brian's dreads in person.

heh. yeah, we'll be around for most of the break, though we DO have to go up to windsor one of the weekdays during the break. I'm hoping to go on the actual turkey day, as I am not really fond of that hollyday, and don't particularly want to see my family that day anyway, LOL. But yeah, um, we could definitely meet up at, say, grounds for thought one day?
