i'm a wedding dj
and it's always freaked me out. after a few months it's been possible to keep my freakings out to a minimum. but today i get a call from some associates through this play i just designed sound for, and they want me to be the dj at this bar where many of the people involved in this theater festival will congregate for some festival related saturday night celebration. but for all the time i spent playing "red red wine" complaining to myself "godamnit, i wish i could just play all the shit i want to play" now that i have the opportunity, i'm faaaar more freaked out. i have a collection of music i enjoy listening to, but i certainly wouldn't classify the bulk of it as dance music. i guess i agreed to do it for the thrill of it? ah well. we will see!
