New Bird!
Yesterday was a lot of fun. I gave my brother his present early, but only because I was receiving my present yesterday as well, and I didn't want him to feel left out. He liked it, and even agreed to throw the old book away! So we drove to San Antonio to meet up with my grandfolks, and we had lunch at Richie's favorite place. Then we went to this really cool book store that has a lot of cats walking around in it, and Richie found an X-Files book that he hadn't seen before. Then we went to Petsmart and I picked out a beautiful blue parakeet, and named him Sky. The birds have to be kept separate for about a month, just to make sure Sky doesn't have something that he can infect Crazy Joe with. But they both know that the other exists, so they are both going crazy. But it feels good to have two birds singing instead of just one lonely bird. Then we went over to a shoe store and my mom took about an hour to pick out some sneakers! Then on our way home we stopped at a place called Azteca and got some margaritas! Although they were kind of weak.
Today I am making up for all of the homework that I didn't do yesterday, plus all of the cleaning and grooming(of myself). My family went hiking, which I wouldn't have wanted to do anyway because of the heat. It has cooled down maybe a few degrees, but that's not enough for my liking.
