There are many things about being a Christian that are difficult, but I am this close to concluding that the most difficult thing about it is actually believing that this God really cares about you, sometimes more than you could care about yourself. Every relapse proves to me that I can never comprehend it, and that this faith has so much more to go through before it is properly called a strong unwavering faith.

And so do guilt-trips, which happen just as often.
