Time is passing by very slowly today and I am feeling sleepy and unproductive, hence an (undeserved) break for me to tell the story of my life for the past few days (this is a terrible introduction really):
- Wednesday: For the first time in my life I got a wee little tooth filling (freaked out inside at the prospect of this at first but dentist convinced me that it's minor and when I went home I realised how teeny this filling is because...I can barely see it). I think I'm more motivated to brush my teeth more often and more thoroughly now, as well as to remember to use my mouthwash. Can't floss because most of my teeth are too close together. Ran out of cash because of the unexpected filling and panicked (again), but thankfully the hospital accepted deferred payments. PHEW. In addition I ran out of phone credit at the same time so I had to borrow the receptionists' phone to make an SOS call to my parents at the counter to tell them I didn't have enough money on hand and no ATM card. Sigh. The hospital I was at was very very nice though, with great landscaping and architecture and design. Walked around a couple of times while waiting and had lunch outdoors too.
- Thursday, Friday: Just tuition/consultation, basically.
- Saturday: MAF arrangments were super duper messy at first because everything was being confirmed at the last possible minute, and people were still late anyway. Even Mr. Lau reached the class bench earlier. But bit by bit everything became better as familiar people started appearing at the scene. Sodache was (Y); I miss sodache!
- Yesterday: Sent Eliz off; there goes 1/4 of the Giessen gang, but I'll see her again! I hope.
- Today: Did a blood count at the polyclinic; was almost denied this service due to some regulations but the doc was nice enough to let me do the test in the end because he saw that I'd waited for quite some time (although everything went much faster after the registration bit, so much faster than my medical check-up at Raffles -_-). Polyclinics are really awesome. This is the third time this year I had a needle jabbed into me...
Ok back to tuition prep...
