Posting this before I forget!
Decided to read a chapter from Confessions of A Prayer Wimp last night after QT:God sent the ravens to provide what I needed. He did it not because I pray powerfully (I'm a wimp not a warrior, you'll recall). Not because I'm faithful. Not because I've earned his favour by being a good and dutiful daughter.
No, God provides simply because I am his child. I am his child and He loves me, and like all good fathers, God delights in blessing his children.
God "is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us" (Ephesians 3:20). Ready to answer your prayers. Ready to supply your needs. Ready to work in your life.
Jesus said it in Matthew 7:7: "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." God is able, willing, and ready. When we called for help, he answered as if to say, "I though you'd never ask!"
All you have to do is ask. Will you?
