Finally finished the re-read of the first 137 pages (Yeah you read that right) of the Huge Fic to appease my nerves that it doesn't suck and that I haven't left threads hanging (though I do have a half-finished sex scene that is just dangling). There are some things that need work, but nothing that makes me cringe too hard. I also put in little markers to indicate how it will be split up for posting and that has made me incredibly happy.
So now to re-read and re-write the last 30-odd pages and hopefully continue writing this thing. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I am in the right headspace. There is so much ANGST in this next part and I am not feeling in tune with my angst right now which is very surprising. Hoping, though, that as I re-read and re-write, something will click. I have a feeling most of the next 30 pages need to be re-written anyway (these are the ones that were written during the great 12K word vomit so there's a lot of inconsistency).
I will finish this fic! Hopefully before s3 ends :P
Here have a picture of Binky! She's the more difficult of the two to photograph and I'm rather pleased with how it turned out. She's still snuggled up next to me, too ^_^ It's been a great day for cat snuggles.
