crazy customer saturday!
So for the last week or so I've been wearing this set of devil horns. Because I love wearing crazy hats around the shop during/leading up to the holidays. These horns are especially cool 'cause they light up.
This morning as I am minding my own business and saying Hello to the people who come in, this woman in her late 60s I think came through and gave me this look when she saw the horns. I hammed it up as I do and said, "You can have your own for just $6.99" because hello: Sales Girl. She does a quick turn of the store and as she's leaving she stops and gives me the sweetest condescending smile and says (completely seriously), "You should accept the power of Jesus Christ into your heart and refute the devil."
Cue my jaw falling open in shock as she walked out. I turned to Boss #2's oldest daughter (who is 11) and stage-whispered, "Oh my God, did you hear that?" Her eyes were BLOWN it was so cute.
But seriously? SERIOUSLY? I wish I had said, "I'm sorry, ma'am, but we've run out of Jesus costumes." It was just bizarre. But it made my day.
