Sick and Such
I get so bad at keeping this thing updated!!
Right now I am suffering from a not so fun cold. It has been building up all week, and now that I am supposed to be enjoying a long three-day weekend, full blown cold. Sore throat, coughing, stuffy nose, head ache, no energy, the whole bit.
I have been trying to get caught up on some cleaning this weekend, but don't really feel like I have gotten all that far. I am really feeling like I want to re-arrange and re-decorate the rooms in our apartment. Thanksgiving is going to be here before we know it, and so will half of Mark's family. Mark's parents and younger sister were planning to come out for Thanksgiving, and spend a week with us here (yes, 5 people in our tiny little apartment!) But now, for some reason Mark's grandparents want to come. His dad's family; two grandmothers and the grandfather who married them both, his current wife and his exwife. Oooh, the fun. Anyway though . . . our place looks like one of those home that Clean Sweep or Trading Spaces would work on in a second, it is soooo bad. I need to do so much. And then there are all of the little things . . . we need better pots and pans, and silver wear that is not falling apart, and enough sheets and towels for everyone.
Sigh . . . OK . . . I should get back to cleaning. Or at least try to
