2018 round-up
Yearly tradition, here is my year in 40 questions.
1. What did you do in 2017 that you'd never done before?
- Went to Iceland! <3
- Flown from the airport in my home town
- Went abroad for work (Iceland)
- Started walking a trail through the Netherlands
- Took longest walk ever (so far), 22km
2. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Not resolutions per se, but:
- get body back on track - not quite there yet, but better!
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My siter-in-law (to my niece Sam)
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Fortunately, no
5. What countries did you visit?
The UK, Germany
6. What would you like to have in 2019 that you lacked in 2018?
I'd like to get in shape even more
7. What dates from 2018 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Taking the horsie to Temptation Weiland on April 27th, Pearl Jam shows on June 12 and 13th
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Not ending my relationship, getting a promotion at work, losing a little weight, walking halfway down the country with Nik <3
9. What was your biggest failure?
Failing to loose more weight
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
The usual.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
A coverage for Sæunn by Fitja-Hljómur
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Boyfriend's for finally acknowledging his problems, starting therapy and finding a new job
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
That one friend that called me too fat to ride my own horse
14. Where did most of your money go?
Horse, gas, mortgage
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Getting my horse pregnant

Happier or sadder? Probably a little happier.
Thinner or fatter? A little thinner.
Richer or poorer? Richer, due to earning more at work and saving my ass off

Lose weight, exercise

Eat.
20. How will you be spending Christmas
Spent it with my family, having lunch with my dad on Sunday and with my mom on Wednesday, both times with my brother and his kids
21. What was the most embarrassing thing that happened to you in 2018?
I talk before I think, so I embarrass myself quite regularly.
22. Did you fall in love in 2018?
Yes...

A couple, in my dreams.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?

A pregnant horse, improved body, money.

For my temporary boss to stay instead of my actual one

I turned 38 and we went to York the weekend before, to celebrate L's. On mine, I took a long walk with my day, which was just what I needed
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
If my dad had really dumped his gf. And if bf's family would finally stand up to his sister and mother. And winning the lottery. I think I'll keep this one on here permanently as well.

Casual

Music, horses, fanfiction.
