Escapade 2018 Scholarship Recipients
Two of this year’s scholarship recipients are long time friends of Escapade who haven’t been with us in several years due to some Real Life issues: Delibby and Calysta Rose. Visitors to the con suite will remember the vast numbers of fantastic cookies that would arrive with Delibby, along with her enthusiastic pimping of her favorite shows (Veritas, Firefly). Calysta Rose would willingly provide amazing technical help to anyone who asked. Both of them would fill in to help anyone anywhere, and we’re thrilled to have them back with us!
The other 2018 scholarship recipient is someone new to Escapade. Neth Smiley is a younger fan attending her first-ever convention. She jumped in with both feet, offering to volunteer, mod a couple of panels, and is also bringing something to the art show. We are excited to welcome her to Escapade!
