I've been alive for 24 years, but it's not my birthday yet.
Well, so a lot has happened since the last time I posted. I guess I should start with the marriage--j/k. I've been addicted to Jem, lately. Mostly "They" by Jem.
Anyway, in the past month, I've taken my exams, partied, helped plan a birthday party, gone clubbing, paid back my aunt, Eli., and the guy whose car I scratched. Fun times.
I never baked the Ginger Molasses Cookies that I had planned to for my German class, but oh well. I really want to see the last exam and what I got, but I don't think that's happening. The French class kind of blew, in that I never got to fill out the survey about our instructor and how awful she was... and how... she always freakin' whistled to quiet us down. -_- No, I'm not saying it because I got a bad grade in the class, because I actually got a good one; I just say it because I despised her class, the teaching methods, the crappy quizes based on a silly story from the horrible book, and that whistling as if we were her horses.
Anger aside, I had some rare good times in the class. I'll miss some of my classmates. They were nice, from all over, and some were quite funny.
Anyway, even though we threw a surprise party for The Neslihan, she held a party the other day (the one that was planned). Sammy and I snuck out (when we were the only guests that had arrived after an hour of it starting), and wrapped her gift. While we were getting it wrapped, we also bought her a cone that said, "#1 Grandpa." I'm sure she appreciated that. She was pissed that we left, until she saw the present we bought her. The combined efforts of Eric, Kim, Sammy, and I. We bought her a beautiful robot reptile.
Other things: I was going to go to a party last night; I didn't go. Various people cancelled on me, so I hung out with Eli. and his friends (who have the same birthday as me). We went out clubbing, and I ended going to two different clubs, ran into Aaron, and we caught up. He's definitely one of my oldest friends. Last thing (maybe): I'm having a small get-together at my house tomorrow night. It'll be fun. All for Heroes. Mmm, finale. I posted an event on Facebook.... I think I got most of the people I wanted to. I should go to bed early tonight since I have to wake up early.
Oh yeah, about the subject... I was born in another country, in case you didn't know, it would already be my birthday if I were still there, which is why I'm already 24, even though it's not my birthday. I enjoy saying that.
MMmm, reminder to myself, had a haircut last Friday... Need to ask about bloodwork again... Um.. Yeah.
I saw Spider-Man III too, and I'd just like to say that it kind of blew. I'd say the worst of the three. Too much story for a movie, and too many villians being developed. >.> Oh, and don't get me on the bell tower... He had no reason to go there, unlike the comics/tv series, where he actually went there for a specific reason. Such crap. Ugh. Hi, Parker good, Parker evil, and then good again. o.o What the freak? I'm going to go now...
