I should think about updating more often. It's been 16 days! So.. recap of the last two weeks and two days... Hrrm... I'm sure everyone will be glad to know that I'm no longer dizzy (read: not driving while dizzy, because... that's stupid).
I guess I'll start on Tuesday, the 13th... It took forever getting to class, and it took even longer trying to get home. I eventually gave up (after one and a half hours of driving), and stopped by Naz's. I ate lunch and dinner there, and then her family told me to stay the night because of the snow. They were worried I wouldn't get home... ^^;; Except I ended up not staying and left at 9 PM. The roads were in fact slick, but not horrible. Wednesday classes were cancelled, so I slept until 4 PM... and Thursday, I found myself stuck in ice/snow. My car was stuck in a prison of ice until Sat. I freaked out because I had an exam that day, and I would've been early had it not been for the snow. Thank god the prof. decided to postpone it. >.>
I had Naz stop by on Friday to try to free my car, but that obviously failed, so she drove me to campus so that I could get something I had to record for the French exam (there's a stupid speaking part). We went out for Thai food right after. When we got back to my house, we tried to get my car out some more... and decided to try something on Sat. Because the temp. still wasn't high enough, Naz decided to stay at home, which was fine. I ended up freeing the car after a short while thanks to the half of bag of salt Naz poured around my car the night before. XD I went rock climbing shortly after (I'm so happy they added new routes).
I met my mom and aunt at the Neiman Marcus Café for the lunar new year. It just meant I got to see my aunt and get money. Unfortunately, I also scratched a car while parking (at 1:04 PM) because, for some odd and stupid reason, I thought I could park between a car that was vaguely close to the line on the right (the car I scratched (Toyota, silver)), and a car that had parked over the line and into my actual space. Ok, so there was a little more as to why I scratched it (people were walking by, so I waited, but another car wanted to pass across from me, so I didn't want to keep blocking him/her, so instead of widening to park, I made a sharp turn that my car cannot do). I left a note, but I'm stupid, because I rushed in the mall instead of taking down the guy's license plate. XD
I saw Ann and helped her out after lunch. I ended up eating dinner at her house, too (David, the guy who leased the car I scratched, called too, and made a joke about our names)... and installed many many languages onto her silly laptop. I seriously got home around 9:40 PM because of that.
Last Tuesday, I had my French exam. It was long. I was the second person to leave, and I was there early. I left at the time the class normally ends, and only one person turned his test in while I was packing . When you have an exam that takes more time than the class period, it needs to be shortened (keeping in mind that I spent two hours working on the speaking part of the exam in Starbucks)... Anyway, we didn't get the exams back last Thursday, so I await Tuesday for them. I was fairly careless, mostly because I didn't feel like checking every little detail on a 200 point exam. After class was the usual Starbucks, and then the ever so lovely dinner with Monica and her friends (Kimber, Mo, Sara(h?), and Trish(a?)). It was definitely a lot of fun. They're all really nice, funny people. We had a cool Russian waitress, and a trainee... who was less than perfect. She was the main person that was supposed to wait on us... and never really checked up on us, so I think everyone left a pretty bad tip. ^^;;; I'm not one to do that, but I did. I think she was the same lady that gave us our bill when Qi and I randomly stopped by The Cheesecake Factory a few weeks ago.
Anyway, Friday, I hung out with Alyssa, Ann, and Naz. Ann and I arrived at CPK a bit late, and I had the most wonderful pizza. It was this weird mango/curry thing... Many thanks to Alyssa for spotting it, and Naz for ordering it while I was driving there. We were originally going to watch Music & Lyrics, but it was sold out, so we headed to Ann's for a movie. While Ann and I were waiting, Alyssa and Naz decided to go home, so Ann and I hung out. We watched The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe as I copied various Japanese CD's for her. After the movie, she told me about the book, and right when we got into a serious discussion, her mom kept checking up on her (because she wanted Ann to go to bed)... and I left. The contents of the conversation were interesting, but it's not going to be shared. ^^;;;
Saturday was spent rock climbing for an hour and a half, and then going home and eating dinner in the sloppiest of clothing with a guest. My mom's friend came over, and I had meant to change and shower first, but that didn't happen (as I arrived home to see my mom's friend get out of her car). Today will be spent finding out if I got the highest grade on the last German exam. I somehow doubt I did, but we'll see. I know this crazy girl named Nesli thinks I did (I know you're reading!!!). Oh yes, and before I leave, I'd like to thank my bro (yes, you heard me) once again for helping me get my car out of the snow the second time it got stuck (sometime last week, I think (oh yeah, last Tuesday when I had an oil change, got a haircut (hairstylist said my eyebrows were too thick and he trimmed them XD), and after my bro helped me out, went to the bank).
