I've done this before, and I've encouraged people to be in studies like this before, I got off the phone today with a researcher from the U of T and I wanted to pass this along:
http://community.livejournal.com/neworleans/2619971.html#cutid1 In case you missed it - this was posted on the NOLA community board and pretty much I was the only person that answered it. They've been having a terrible time getting people to respond, and I know that many people do not wish to discuss the Hurricane at all and let the past be the past but I am one of THREE Caucasians that they've spoken to and they were REALLY surprised by my point of view and the things that I had to say. I kept the poor woman on the phone for 2+ hours.
The only question is this: Did you evacuate and if not what were your options once you decided to stay in New Orleans during the hurricane.
I know it's painful - but I believe in Sociology experiments like this and I think it's important to help out. Contact her via e-mail and they are willing to talk as long as you're willing to talk to them :-)
