The Cat, The Rose, and some other stuff while the customers aren't here

Mi-ké

The cat is annoying already. After a few hours from posting my last entry, I decided to bring the cat outside the gate and leave it there with her cat friends. Unfortunately, when I woke up, I found the cat sleeping in between my feet... on my bed. Since I was still too sleepy, and lazy, I left the effing pussy alone.

At around 10 a.m., my aunt woke me up. I got half-awake and vaguely understood what she was saying. I think she was asking why there was a cat on our living room. As far as my memory can remember, I told my aunt:

“Pakainin daw yung pusa mamaya...”

Di na kumibo tita ko. Baka masuntok lang daw ako eh.

Anyway, I didn't sleep that long after. I waited for a few hours for my aunt to leave the house then headed downstairs to finish Rule of Rose. As I was about to go down, I heard some commotion going on in the kitchen; the cat was fighting something! I quickly went towards the said area to find what eff was going on.

Amf, sinisindak nung pusa yung aso ko.

Tama had his beady eyes wide open and was barking at the cat. The cat was cornered between the gas tank and some stacked cases, and was hissing at my precious black dog. I saw some cat like reflexes that time and appreciated it before realizing that this cat is gonna pwn my dog! I grabbed Tama at once before anything else would happen.

The cat quickly escaped and headed towards the third floor ( I guess ). I let Tama down the floor, patted him since he was giving me that “who the eff was that?” look. The dog was jealous, but that could be easily solved by feeding the tub of black love with a healthy meal of dog food.

Tama ate, the cat was no where to be found, and I finally finished Rule of Rose. Good.

After a few minites, Booker came home early today. That means it's his turn to have some uniterrupted fun with the T.V. , so I left him downstairs and headed towards his room; I need to have a healthy dose of DBA this time.

Open the P.C., turn on the modem, sit on th---

WTF!?

Muntik ko na maupuan yung pusa. Its a good thing I felt something furry and soft on my tush before laying the smack down on the pussy. I guess that cat slept there the whole afternoon.

I get d.c'ed more often now than in the shop. I couldn't connect to DBA and it got me so fustrated that I decided to download Supreme Dynasty ( yet another game from e-games ). Using a torrent d.l'er, the file took two hours ( 1h 57m 3s to be exact ) to complete. Good, may oras pa ako matulog.

Woke up at around 7 p.m. Finished d.l'ing the file. Installed it, and ran the game. Unfortunately, the patching didn't progress. It got stuck up from 1% to 4%... for one hour. Grabe.

There was nothing to do. It's TV time for aniki... and most probably for the family since it's dinner time, Audition was down; I couldn't level both my character and Christine's character... and the effing SD wouldn't patch.

Fork Sheep!

Well... there's always the cat naman, diba?

I took the pussy and placed her out again, this time, somewhere farther than the last time.

Mom: “Finally... kusai na dito.”

Booker: “Where you takin' the cat?”

Jiro: “Dunno... somewhere far...”

To ensure that the pussy won't return. I closed the windows in the living room. Locked em up tight.

... six hours later. 1:00 am.

The cat was sleeping in between my feet... in my bed.

When Repressed Memories Turn Bad

Rule of Rose. I've seen the game's cover all over St. Francis Square since last year, but I didn't bother buying it since 1) I didn't have the time and 2) I need to get sleep after work ( this to let you know that I AM NOT SCARED OF PLAYING THE GAME ). Anyway, I got sick afew months back, and to kill the boredom while recovering, I decided to buy some PS2 games to play while I rested back home.

I finished .hack//GU in afew days. Nabitin ako.

Then I started playing Rule of Rose. At first I got so frustrated since the character walked too slow. Other than that, the way Jennifer ( the main character ) swings the weapon ensures you that she'll die sooner or later during the gameplay... not in the story.

However, there was one thing that caught my interest; the dog system. After the prelude, you'll find a dog that will help you in the game by 1) looking for people/items/clues by letting him sniff key items, 2) block enemies or paralyse them for easy battles.

So after playing a few rounds to get the hang on the controls, I decided to finish the game with a new, untouched data. My goal is to finish it with out the help of an F.A.Q., and finish the game with a good ending.

It's easier than it sounds. It's just that dear Jennifer moves so slow and her attacks don't auto-target on enemies.

Eventually, after finishing the game, I learned to appreciate the game. Part of it was the detective work you'll be doing almost the whole time, and the story was cool. Ever imagined if you kept a past event that you forced to forget? Then suddenly they all come back without you remembering what it is? Eheh...

If you ever get the chance to play the game, have a little patience and you'll surely enjoy playing Filthy Jennifer and Filthy Brown...

BTW, click here to view the opening scene of the game. Hope you enjoy it.
( Warning! Semi-lolicon Alert )

What Other Stuff?

I type slower than a turtle if ever a turtle ever learns how to type. I type so slow that the customers started to come over and rent a unit. Anywho...

- I recently got addicted to Extra Joss. I don't know why, but i'm spending less than the time I was having Mine Shine Milk Tea Daily.

- The OJT is making up for his recent eff-ups; He's cleaning the shop, the P.C.'s and the restroom.

- My mom named the cat Mi-ké, which means Three Fur/Tri-fur, or Three-Colored-Fur.

Yes, the cat is still annoying.

I've downloaded some some songs from Dance Battle Audition. If you guys want some MP3 you can either get them here ( per album ), or you can just contact me me via Yahoo! Messenger and I'll gladly share a song with you i(  Individual songs ). :) esaka_jiro

That's it for now. Gotta go back to work.
