(no subject)
It's been a while again, but go figure.
So the Summer of Geek has started, that is what I am calling it due to the movies that are being released this year. I mean really, list them and you have damned near a who's who of pretty much everything. The only thing that is missing is a Will Smith blockbuster, but I think he is too busy plotting to take over the world to shoot anything right now.
So I went and saw Star Trek, ignoring the almost 50 years of cannon and its a damned good movie...even including some cannon its a good movie. During every Kirk fight I was waiting for the "enemy is bent over because I punched him so I will clasp my fist together and hammer on his back" moment....it never came. :( I was pretty happy overall, everything was what I expected, except McCoy. OMG FANBOI SQUEEE! Karl Urban was channeling Deforest Kelly, or he is is illegitimate son and no one knows. He even did the "I'm a doctor, not a ...." and made it real! Dude deserves and Oscar just for that.
In other happenings, should be going back to 8 hour shifts at work next month, don't know what I am gonna do with those extra 8 hours though....really I have no clue.
I started watching Code Geass, but the second season since I can't find the first anywhere, I am only like 3 episodes in....do I need to watch the first season to get it all, or is it like GitS where they are kinda linked but not really?
Mrah, playing Assasin's Creed, and its fun killing people and climbing shit, but repetitive; took Xenosaga to work to play during the down time cause the PS2 is FAR easier to transport than and a 360, I forgot how much campy good fun the first game is. :D
