Yay! I finally purchased tickets to Leipzig! The price actually went down approximately $350 overnight - I'm so glad I tempered my enthusiasm with the tiny bit of patience I was able to dredge up at the last minute...
Thanks! (er, I mean danke!) I'm leaving December 18 and returning Jan 10. I'll be working weekends pretty steadily until I leave to make up for the extra vacation time, but I'm quite sure it'll be worth it - no idea when I'll be able to visit again. I'll have to take up drinking soon to build up my tolerance, so that Dave won't have me sick under a table the night I arrive as he's already promised. (big surprise, eh?)... ;)
