It's been a bit of a cool gaming weekend.
Saturday was a friend's birthday, so a small group of us round round to celebrate with an evening of games. Chez Geek was won by me in the usual way (I have a crap game, everyone eignores me and then I pull a random win!). Then we played a few games of a tops card game called Red Dragon Inn. In this you play a member of an adventuring party returning to the pub after a profitable quest. You have to remain the in the game whilst winning everyone else's money (broke adventurers get kicked from the pub by the staff) or being the last person still sober. A good fun game that I may well try and pick up myself. Unfortunately we didn't finish until well gone 2am and I didn't get home till quarter to four in the morning.
Then tonight there was no D&D so just Gary, sinkbuddy and myself played a game of Arkham Horror (we lost badly. First game I have known to reach 10 on the terror level) and Dino Hunt, a favourite of mine (I won by 1 point!).
