New Dr Who
Ok, so, the new series of Doctor Who. Hidden under a cut cos I know some of you don't like spoilers.
Pro's:
* Loved the new look to the opening credits and the new theme tune. I know some won't but it held a more darker sinister feel and I liked that.
* I haven't been sure about Matt Smith but despite the shakey start to the episode he has grown on me. I don't think he will be as good as David Tennant but so far I think he can do the job.
* Cute new companion. Oh yes! :-)
* New interior TARDIS control room design. I'll miss the old coral desktop but this looks good.
Con's:
* The initial bit where his body is recovering and settling down from the regeneration was about five minutes too long. That could have been cut back quite a bit.
* Crap CGI eye-spaceship thing. That could have looked so much better.
* Another companion with a boyfriend who will probably keep cropping up. *sigh*
* Don't like the new logo.
