Portland Bound
Well, maybe. It looks highly probable that I'll be headed to Portland the week of Aug 1st. There's a big NDE conference which my company thinks it'll be useful for me to attend. I don't know how I conned them into it, but it worked. ;)
I'm going with a coworker (probably to make sure I actually go to the conference). So I need from all my good Portland friends, what are some of the good places to go around Downtown Portland? We'll be staying at the Hilton on 6th St. (Real close to Pioneer Square). I vaguely remember some nice pubs/lounges (Kell's I think is down that way) but that was when I was learning mixology, more than 5 years ago. I'm certain things have changed since then.
It doesn't look like Anita will be able to make it. I'm flying on company dime, but it's too expensive for Anita to go.
I'll be busy most of the day, but will totally have time for seeing folks in the evening most days (but I might have to entertain my coworker some too).
