Happy birthday to me!
Okay not quite...but almost! The family pretty much did the celebrating yesterday.
Pete came over and we went to the NJ All-State wind ensemble/symphonic band concert to see my little sis in it and then we all went for a nice dinner.
This restaraunt has the BEST salad bar anywhere. Unfortunately...I don't think I like their pasta very much. I've had the chicken alfredo and a shrimp pasta dish before...personally I found both to be a little on the blah side. I'll stick with the beef next time. They have good steaks there.
Lordy...my crafty addiction was royally fed last night. I recieved 2 little bitty cross stitch kits from my youngest sis (also a needlecraft addict), "Stitch 'N Bitch Nation" from my other siblings...wrapped in brown paper (Apparently I wasn't old enough to understand the significance of that) and a Needlemaster set I had my eye on from my grandmother.
My parents gave me a new camera. >_< I saw it coming...I still feel bad since I lost and never found the last one. But I was hoping to have a camera for when I go to Alaska in the summer and they knew it. If that wasn't a factor, they would have waited a little longer in case mine magically popped up....maybe until the following Christmas.
But I am really happy with it. It's very petite compared to my old heavy one and it's a spiffy bright red color.
Pete gave me a set of computer speakers. I'm supposed to get my own desktop computer for graduation and these speakers are supposed to go with it. He has a similar setup for his own computer and it's a really nice sound system. So I will definately be putting those to good use. Thanks, Pete! *hugs* ^^
