busy busy busy
It's only the third week of school and I feel like I've done nothing but work almost straight through these past weeks. I hardly have time to do anything other than reading and preparing presentations. But after next Tuesday, I will have no more presentations to do for my Biogeochemistry class and only 1 more to do for my Genetics class. Which will make this all worth it.
I have also tried to have big, important, non-working weekends, which may be a major contributor to my stresses now, but again, I think it makes it worth it. Work hard, play hard right? Plus weekends like these don't come around very often. Jeff came down this past one, and I hung out with him and my roomies a lot. Did a lot of drinking and eating. A bit of the serious talking. The usual in an unusual time.
And this weekend is going to be busy and big and full of not working as well. This is THE big weekend. I can't believe it. I just can't even fathom what this will be like. I'm pretty happy that I am only looking forward to it though, I'm not scared at all. Just very excited to see my boy.
Oh yeah, and Will and I both got jobs working at a summer camp in Maine for 11 weeks or so this summer. I'd be a riding instructor, and Will would be a driver and teach maybe one or two classes. It's really good to know that I have SOMETHING to do this summer, if the internships don't work out. The place seems really nice too.
I just sent Josh a tough email. I am a very selfish person. But we all are, right Ms. Rand?
Oh yeah, and it's Valentine's Day. And I'm going to be all by myself in the house for most of the night it looks like. Monica's got a date but don't tell her that. And Will is 2.5 hours away. But I've only got 3 more sleeps. I can do it.
