Yeah, I'm beyond obsessed with Jeff/Annie, it's definitely my favourite ship right now and I have loads, they even shifted Ten/Rose who held the first position for,like 2,5 years. I'm not sure how it happened,lol, especially considering I've been a pretty loyal viewer of Community and a Jeff/Annie shipper for a year but I went completely nuts after the Conspiracy episode, I guess I just needed to move on from DW and Community fandom turned out to be a plausible choice, I've adored the show ever since I first got into it last March but then I started to rewatch it and just fell in love more and more, so yeah, Community&Jeff/Annie=my life right now, I WAS SO PUMPED THEY RENEWED TOO,OMG.
Have you seen the results of E!Online Poll when we, Jeff/Annie shippers beat Huddy by 3000 votes? (which was like 0,5% margin) I was soo proud, I thought TAKE THAT HUDDY THIS ONE IS FOR HAMERON :D

About Ben and Leslie I ship it but I'm kind of scared about it... I watch the Office and it's basically the same kind of show, a camera that follows around everyone, and that sometimes is annoying, expecially for romance...
Yeah, I know, the mockumentary format is not conductive to beautiful romance, but I still think they did pretty good with Jim/Pam (I think it was the first sitcom where my heart actually hurt for a ship) and I don't ship Ben/Leslie that much to care about what we'll see, I just enjoy his telling stares at the camera and speeches about Leslie filled with admiration and everyone noticing his non-so-subtle interest in Leslie except of course for Leslie (I just love that she's oblivious, it's so rare when a woman's oblivious)
they can't give me the amount of angst that I need! That's why I'm so scared for Annie and Jeff too..
Oh, I dunno, Jeff/Annie have PLENTY of angst in my opinion, especially for a sitcom, plus, they are both really broken people so their angst is internal and the live situation they are in (especially Annie) is just so sad, like, they lost everything they'd worked for and had to start over at Community college, which they are both too good for, and they are just so lonely and confused and really vulnerable while trying to appear strong, Community is so much more than a sitcom, it has LAYERS.
Plus, I was kinda glad the ship was relatively angst free until Asian Population Studies happened and they are so confused and sad and angry,it totally broke my heart, it's still trying to patch up, I wasn't expecting something so serious with them this soon in the series because I was more looking at the ship as fun and hot and adorable, but they proved they can be ANGSTY too, not just in fanfic, so yeah, I need moar fluff now, the series has been a bit heavy as of late....
I should read what I write before to post it :D

Wanna funny story? I introduced my real life best friend to Tumblr (yeah, but I have no account myself,lol, I'm just lurking for pretties) and she then tells me "Listen, I stumbled onto this blog, the girl who owns it has so startlingly similar interests to yours, that's just spooky and uncanny, you probably have seen her blog" and I was like "I dunno, is that possible, is the Internet such a small world?" and then she sends me a link, and it's YOUR Tumblr,lol, what are the chances of that? (I think my bff stumbled onto it because of your Castle gifs, she's not a fan of DW and although I introduced her to Community she doesn't ship anyone there) So then imagine my friends surprise when I was like "No, I don't follow this girl's Tumblr...she's my friend on LJ and I've been a fan of her fanvideos like since 2008 or so" It's like the Internet keeps bringing us together, Ery, though random fandom connections and social networks XD

Well, I'm glad I give you hope,bb,lol, I'm not sure what sounded hopeful from what I said,though, I just listed all the sad things about the ship, but I am hopeful because the audience loves it and no matter what a troll Dan is he loves his audience,too, I just hope public won't start loving Jeff/Britta more after a couple of years (I felt like Huddy kept increasing during and after s3, and all the fans that joined during s5 became Huddy-shippers automatically, I just really hope that doesn't happen with Jeff/Annie, IT MUST STAY ON TOP, IT MUST OVERCOME THE HUDDY-COMPLEX OR I WILL NEVER PUT MY HEART ON A SHIP AGAIN.

Oh God this is BRILLIANT! Such a weird and awesome coincidence :) See there is something outhere that keeps us connected some way... this is the proof we were waiting for, we should talk more :D

The ANGST always gives me hope LOL... Thing is you're right: Ships can be good in sitcoms too. I guess Community is more like Friends and that show had loads of romance involved, and - if we want to go there - even How I Met Your Mother is full of romance even if my ship dissappointed me so much that I lost faith on thatkind of show, that's way you gave me hope, you made me see that is possible because Jim e Pam had their amazing scenes and that kind of show is teh worst when it comes to romance... :) I'm just talking nonsense but everything is crystal clear in my mind so don't worry xD

Well, I think is different for House and Cuddy... They forced their relationship, they put Cameron out of the picture giving her at first an angst-y storyline with Chase and then they get rid of her so there wasn't a ship war anymore, there was just Cuddy, and ouse it's a procedural so you can start it whenever you want and nothing change imho... So if you start from season 3 you don't know what happened on season 1 and 2... Then I think David Shore is a prick and he doesn't care about the fandom AT ALL, he has a successful show and on Fox and he's happy that way... Dan is different as you can see from interviews too, he's more of a friend-of-the-fandom kind of guy I think! He is the one who took that path, he is the one who made Jeff and Annie grow up facing their limits. Jeff is less selfabsorbed now and Annie is way more mature... When it comes to Jeff/Britta all I can see is an amazing friendship... he liked her, the old Jeff liked her, he was an hell of a player back then and he was looking for a random hook-up... Now he's different and his relationship with Britta changed with him...
Btw next year Annie will turn 21 and we had a party for each carachter so far... well for Troy and for Abed (they mentioned Pierce Bday too) but you know what I mean... :D
