I had the furnace and the sump pump running simultaneously last night. Freaky! If this weather doesn't relent and improve soon, I am going to be seriously annoyed. it shouldn't be this cold so close to May!

But it inspired a new word! Upon my report that it was snow-hailing this afternoon (for about ten minutes - and that was all the rain/snow/wrath of Eru that we got today, thank goodness), my co-worker thought for a moment and then said, "That would be snail!"

Perfect! But I have to confess, I hope never to witness a snailstorm (fascinating though it would be).
