How come the ability to procrastinate is directly proportional to the amount of work you have to do?
Anyway, to give myself a "break" from the million-and-one things that need doing I decided to make some changes to the
OpenIllusionist website. I've updated the style of it slightly, although still not sure if I like it yet. The major change has been the addition of a Wiki to provide us with a simple method with which to work on OpenIllusionist documentation from anywhere. Hopefully this will mean we do actually get some useful documentation produced soon :) The news page has also been switched to the Wiki to allow us to update the news without have to muck around ftp'ing to the site. Problem is once you start Wikifying things you soon want to make the whole site that way.
We won't be producing thousands of pages so there was no need to go for the super-duper database driven Wiki. Instead I opted for
DokuWiki which is aimed at small development groups and companies. It uses a directory structure for the namespaces and simple text files for the pages which means that it is easy to backup and is readable as it stands.
I'm currently trying to gather results for a finger detection system I've been working on and they look fairly promising. However, I have a supervisor meeting tomorrow so he's probably going to rip them apart!
I've been having very late nights recently because of working on this other job and I think my body has finally given up on me since I was unable to get up this morning. Not good!
