Platonic
you're the only one,
who still listens,
to my heartfelt sorrow,
where so many others have dismissed.
you said you can save me,
and I believed you,
you said you can heal me,
and I depended on you.
I can see your joy,
from the way your eyes twinkle,
I can see your excitement,
as you write down each analysis.
ironically, condemning me,
to a life full of your so-called prescriptions,
and a series of unanswered question,
where I’m the specimen,
and you're the scientist,
ready to dissect,
each and every word.
sadly, I realized,
this pure platonic relationship,
is not even real,
‘till it’s too late...
