The strange resistability of cakes

I have been having a pretty healthy diet. Low in saturated fats, lots of grilled meat, steamed vegetables, etc. A lamb souvlaki is the most common indulgence meal. Along with the regular exercise, I seem to be getting notably flatter in the stomach.

Anyway, decided this afternoon I would be naughty, and do the coffee-and-cake thing. Got to The Gravy Train and looked at the desert offerings. Nothing looked remotely appealing. My body did not want it and my taste buds did not yearn for it.

So, had a soy chai instead.

If I have a dessert at home, it is often yoghurt (low fat) with 1 spoonful of sunflower seeds and 2 spoonfuls of linseeds (that's flaxseed to Americans). Nowadays, that tastes sweet to me. I drink lots of cold water, which has become definitely by preferred drink at home.

The better my eating habits, the easier it becomes to have good eating habits. A certain ease of spirit so I am not inclined to comfort eat helps, too. (The occasional two squares of Lindt dark chocolate is merely therapeutic.)
