The nasty cold thingy I have been suffering insists on lingering. I am able to keep working, but I feel very drained by the time I get home and things that need doing aren't getting done because I just don't have the energy.
Wasn't up to putting on armour at the end of the Rattan Symposium on Sunday evening. So did camera work instead, and even found that draining. My chance to have Duke Paul Bellatrix comment on my fighting style and I just wasn't up to it. And he did shield presses too.
The Rattan Symposium was very good, well worth the time and money, though I regretted not going to Kerry G's launch and offering a certain Wizard much needed hugs.
Monday evening, after teaching in Bendigo, went to Arrowsreach training, but wasn't up to getting in armour for the challenge tourney that Dukes Bellactrix and Branos were watching and commenting to fighters. So I watched the tourney, chatted with a few folk and went home. Feeling quite glum about not fighting.
Ro/Vandel has suggested I drive to
Spring War, since it is the middle weekend of the September holidays. Could drive up to Canberra beforehand, see a few folk, do Spring War and drive back via Canberra afterwards, see a few more folk then back to Melbourne.
Thinking about it.
