For the links, I did them in Semagic, and when creating the link, ticked the "Make the link open in a new window" box, which basically adds a target="_blank" to the link. So the link for the first entry in HTML reads:

Sure, Benny put out the word that 'practising gays' are not to be admitted to the priesthood, but aren't practising heterosexuals likewise admonished? The whole point of celibacy, and all that.
The admonitions agains 'gay culture' are a little more worrying, though. And there is always the 'rainbow sash' and their fruitless attempts to gain access to the Mass in case anyone is tempted to think of the RCC as a bastion of enlightenment.

The first criteria is, indeed, just celibacy, which applies to every candidate for the Catholic priesthood. The last criteria is essentially a requirement to be alienated from public affirmations of homosexuals are folks too. Objectionable, but does follow from the view that homosexual acts are unnatural and a moral crime. The middle criteria quite simply bans homosexuals from being candidates to the priesthood. So I don't think folk are over-reacting when they take it to be a ban on (new) gay priests, because it clearly is.
