In Indonesia, tsunami aid has paid off in Indonesian public opinion for the US.

Maybe you should proof these a little better. Because frankly, the above statement sounds incredibly callous. I'm sure that if you'd actually meant to say: "Well, lots of people died, and many more are homeless and starving, but at least they like Bush more now. Umm, the ones who survived, anyway..." you would have just said it...
