The journey to Employment
I've been up all night because baby is not a happy baby, and then there was a disturbance and our neighbor Ron caught someone breaking into a car like fifteen minutes ago, so there was shouting and tire squealing and my husband called the cops.We love Ron, so we went out there to make sure everything was alright. So I've just decided to stay awake. I have to wake up in two hours for a job interview anyway.
TWO JOB INTERVIEWS ACTUALLY! Squee....squee indeed.
The first one is for Liberty Mutual and it would be a serious income increase. However, it would be a long commute and I don't like the vacation time offered. We'll see.
The second one is for Gonzaga as an admissions evaluator. It's not great pay, but working for Gonzaga would kick ass, and the commute is significantly less.
So fingers crossed for either.
Finally, I know I should pay more attention since I have GLEE communities on my F-list, but I just noticed that Mike O' Malley has been nominated for an Emmy for his role as Burt Hummel. I'm so excited. He actually made me cry a few times this season. He's incredible...just amazing. Whenever he does a scene with a masculine widower dealing with his gay son and their loving relationship...well I crumble.
