2 - "The Lost Boy" and "A Child Called It" by David Peltzer. It will make you consider being a foster parent if you have the heart.

4 - "Persuasion" By Jane Austen. I think it is the treatise on love and reconnecting with love. Austen taught me how to love with Reason
5 - "The House of Mirth" by Edith Wharton. Tragedy happens when you least expect it.
6 - "Naked" by David Sedaris. Hilarity ensues.
7 - The Lord of the Rings Series is escapism at it's finest.
8 - "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins. For me, it was reinforcement to my life choice.
9 - "The Yiddish Policeman's Union" by Michael Chabon (because everyone is a bit Meyer Landsman)
10 - "Naughts and Crosses" by Malorie Blackmann. I figure the only book to ever make me cry openly belongs somewhere
11 - ..stealing sort of from Amber "Much Ado about Nothing" for the sole dynamic of a feminist character in love which you find with Beatrice and Benedick
12 - "The Book Theif" by Marcus Zasuzak. War from the POV of Death. It will make you love your father.
13 - "Never Let Me Go" by Kashuo Ishiguro. IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE! Best. Book. Ever.

1 - I'm not nearly as confident as I come off as. Even those people who know me think they know I'm a little insecure....they have no idea how deeply it runs. It's why I can't make friends. I don't trust that anyone could actually and feasibly like me. And the worst part is, I think a lot of it can be traced to one person.
