We're all a little bit racist.
WOW what a weekend! That's what I've been wanting. A weekend away to just hang out with friends and stuff. So for those who care to read (all 4 of you) here's the events of the weekend.
Friday: My mom, grandma, and two cousins, Amanda and John, came up and visited. We were gonna go swimming but the pool was closed b/c it hadn't been cleaned yet. So we sat around and watched The Price Is Right with Shannan and Lance. Then we went to the park (Minus Lance) and walked around and then went to Napoli's for lunch. It was a great start to the day. After they all left Shannan and I packed up and headed to Stillwater. We got to the church about an hour and a half before we were supposed to. We helped out a little setting things up for the wedding. After the rehearsal we got to go to Cherokee Strip Bar-B-Q. OMG it was soooo good!! I definately want to go back there again. Anyways after that we went to Wal-Mart and I bought a nice orange shirt for the wedding b/c the one I had doesn't look as nice. I also bought a new pair of swim trunks so we could go swimming at the girl's hotel later but it was late so we didn't. I stayed at Robert's apartment (Nancy's boyfriend). We hung out till about 4 AM just talking and watching funny things on the net.
Saturday: Robert and I got up a little before noon. Got ready and went to eat lunch at McCalester's (sp?) Which is a deli type place with very good sandwhiches and sweet tea. I really like it. Anyways after that we went back to the hotel where all the girls were getting ready. Carrie, the bride, couldn't stop smiling and being happy. It made everyone else kinda happy too lol. Shannan looked beautiful in her dress. Nancy looked hyott too. Robert and I got chosen to go to the church and put signs up on the two roads people would be coming from so they wouldn't miss the turns. (Stupid construction) Anyways then came the wedding. It was very nice. Who knew orange and black could actually be really pretty for a wedding? Carrie looked gorgeous and Shannan sang amazingly beautiful as always. Everyone really enjoyed it. After it was all done we got to eat. Again good food and cake. Lots of cake. The strawberry was good bu not as good as the chocolate with strawberries on top. After the reception we went back to the hotel to swim finally. Shannan and I decided to stay the night one more time, plus they still had the room. Jerrod met us there and brought his new girlfriend. And get this...her name is Shannon. So now me, Jerrod, and Chet are all dating a girl with the same name. Mine however is the only one spelled with an A. Jerrod's girlfriend was really nice. I liked her. She wasn't too shy so she should fit in well and plus JD's parents approve so that's good for her. It was really good to see him again. I wish we could hang out more often.
Sunday: We got up around like 10 i think and got showers and stuff then went to Eskimo Joe's for lunch. I missed the Sweet peppered bacon cheeseburger. MMM soo good. And their cheesefries. yum yum. Then we had to head back b/c I had to work at 3. Got into Chickasha at about 2:45 so I got home and went straight to work. Work wasn't even bad. The storm was nice. Lori and I wished it would have stormed more but oh well. It felt really nice just before it came pouring down.
Now I'm about to go get some lunch, then I have classes this afternoon and then tonight it's off to the drive-in I'm pretty sure. Tomorrow is payday and I'm thinking I may go shopping. I still need a new printer and I want that flat panel monitor. We'll see.
