I feel like I'm on top of the world right now. I'm sure I'll get kicked off sooner or later but for now I'm going to enjoy it. Last night work was ok. It was pretty slow, especially since a new girl started and there was 3 of us there. So for a little bit I just stood around. I started organizing the candy section. That was boring let me tell you. After I got off I went home and that's when things got really great. I mean just when I think things are going good with Shannan she reminds me that they are great. I love her so much and she makes me so happy. I haven't been able to stop thinking about her now. Even when I was bombarded with work about an hour ago. That being said...
Let me tell you of the printshop story from HELL!! Now I've been working here for awhile now and I've had hectic days of course but this one tops the charts almost. I came in about 8:15, no one here. I start to fill out my time sheet and in walks Sandy Huguenin. He has a 58 page booklet he needs 15 copies of in like 45 min. Ok not too big of a problem. 2 pages are longer than the rest so I have to do them seperately, organize them in order, and then staple it all. Ok small problem, nothing I haven't handled before. Then i find out Deb is gone. No one else is here, so i know I need to get this as fast as possible. So i'm hurrying with them trying to get them done and Pres. Fever walks in. He has a booklet he only needs 6 pages copied from. I start it, then have to help someone out, then i see that Sandy is about to be here so I leave Fevers job to finish the other. Turns out Fevers is for the same thing. So now I'm only half way through with Sandy's, and one page copied of Fevers. Sandy says he'll have Diane pick it up cause he had to go. Erika comes in. It's her first day so not a good way to start it and she doesn't know what to do yet so she just helps me stack and organize. I finally get Sandy's finished and Fever's finished and Diane takes them both. It was about 10-15 min after Sandy had left for the meeting. Then Diane comes back to say that Fever's packet was copied wrong. I had accidentally copied them horizontal instead of vertical like the paper so half of it was cut off. Erika had started a page and so I tried to finish but then the machine jammed. I tried to fix it, almost broke it, and it still jammed. So Diane took it to the business office to copy and a lady came in needing color copies. I have never used the color copier. Luckily it was just like the regular ones basically and I got it copied for her after only the 2nd try. The first time it printed on regular paper instead of her card stock. Then I went back and tried to fix the copier which I finally did. So that's it. That was how I spent the first 2 hours of my day at work. I think Erika was a little freaked by what she walked in on. I know I would have if my first day was like this. But now we're sittin at the computers and relaxin a bit. So I hope everyone else's day started off better than mine. Here's a shout out to some V.I.P.s.
