It was the Best of Days, it was the Worst of Days...

It was the best of days, it was the worst of days...This morning I woke up to Gladys moving about in the room around 7:00 am. I had gotten to bed somewhat early so I just got up. My mattress is rather hard so my back kinda hurts when I wake up--I may try and buy that foam thing to put on there. I took a shower and then biked to the beach (I know, shower and THEN beach? well I felt yuck and it was much nicer after I showered). There I went for a swim and laid out to get rid of this pastey skin. I've got to try and build up a tan before going home for Amy's graduation! It was absolutely GORGEOUS out, I can't even describe! The perfect summer day :D So I read my book (well, Jenni's book), "The Amber Spyglass", 3rd in His Dark Materials series by Phillip Pullman. Such a good series, but the strangest of twists came up and I don't know what to think about it. Mike came later cuz he wanted to get his computer from my apartment, but then Ed had picked it up with his anyways and gone to Plueken's. So Mike brought me and my bike home where I dressed real quick and we headed over to Ty's house for LAN party.

There we played Counterstrike mostly, as well as Midtown Madness 2 (Cops and Robbers, Mike and I vs. Ed). Ed's awesome lol. Around 6 I went to church. We had a good BBQ, but we found out that the white spots on Mike's throat is strep!!! :( So he and I drove around looking for an open walk-in clinic, but there was none. So Fr. Drew had Josh call their family doctor who left out pills for Mike to take in her mailbox for us to pick up. After picking them up, Mike and I returned to church where we worshiped and it was good :) But then something happened...So that's why it was the best of days and the worst of days. ::sigh::

I think I should try and get up at like 7 every day I can though. I felt much more fulfilled and my day felt full and wonderful. It just means that I have to shake society's clock and go to bed earlier!!!
