Here's my draft reading list for January! Already picked up Black Boy and Zeitoun at the library. Are there any others I should add? I'd love to have something else a little on the lighter side, like something Bill Bryson-ish except I've read all of his books. Maybe I'll just read A Walk in the Woods for the hundredth time but that kinda defeats the purpose of exposing myself to new nonfiction.

Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me (And Other Concerns), by Mindy Kaling
I've heard good things, and this list needs a little levity!

Bird By Bird:, by Anne Lamott
For writerliness.

Goodbye To All That: Robert Graves
Because Robert Graves is awesome, and this showed up on one of the "best nonfiction" lists I've been trawling.

The Diaries of Samuel Pepys
Because I'm a history geek--of course I want to read a 17th century diary!

Herodotus: Histories (translation)
I own this and have started it, but got sidetracked a while ago.

something by George Sheehan
Apparently he writes good books about running.

Black Boy by Richard Wright
I'm not sure if I've read this or if it's just one of those books I know I should have read so I've convinced myself I've done it. Either way, I should read it (again) so I can actually remember it.

Zeitoun by Dave Eggers
This really sounds fascinating.

A Supposedly Fun Thing I’ll Never Do Again by David Foster Wallace
I've been sort of sporadically working my way through Infinite Jest, and Wallace is a genius, so this seemed like a good pick.
