me..me... me. me. ME!!
This is about me. I'm actually rather happy right now.
Last night I was hanging out with David and talking about painting and such. I decided to try taking some photo's as an experiment.
*back story*
I have come to the conclusion, involving my painting, that I need to start taking my own pictures. In the past, I have used pictures that I have found on the web, sometimes people I know, sometimes not. I felt alright about it insofar that I would treat and change the photo's enough to make them mine... But still, it bothered me.
*end back story*
So, I set up the studio with a black sheet on the wall and arranged some lighting. That wasn't the hard part. The hard part is bringing out the look and emotion I need in my models. I need them to emote. Now, this might sound easy, but as a painter, it's a little freaky to try out photography. Especially with all the photographers that I know that are really good.
Anyway, the experiment went well and I feel confident about pulling this off.
So, anyone want to model for me? Mainly looking for women, but I'm not going to turn people down. Altho you may need to wear eye liner. ;) I would be working in the evenings after six and on weekends.
