A little post about Uri
Over the years I have found interesting acronyms that spell my name. This is what found a few minutes ago on Google.
University of Rhode Island : A good standard, I wish I would have gone to school there. Just for the silliness.
United Refrigeration Inc. : Not very exciting. But very cool. (ha! I'm funny)
United Rentals Inc. : Eh.
URI (Java 2 Platform SE v1.4.2) : I have no idea, but it sounds important. Especially the description. "The scheme-specific part of a hierarchical URI consists of the characters between the ..." :)
Uniform Resource Identifier : It's like a URL. It's likely that it's the same thing as the Java one before. But what do I know? I thought it was online help for people that wanted to know what a janitor should be wearing.
This one is my Favorite!
United Religions Initiative : "The purpose of the URI is to promote enduring daily interfaith cooperation, to end religiously motivated violence" So, I have a purpose and that purpose is to change human nature. Kind of a tall order. :-P
